Traditional Set Dances

Set Piece or ‘Long Dance’ – one of about 40 tunes (new tunes are added and others dropped from the list occasionally) composed by dance masters to accommodate footwork. They typically have irregular bar
counts and structures, and are usually written out in Hornpipe or Jig time, but played at a slower pace.
